A Mother's Love
For the past few years, our founder Nia has completely avoided Mother's Day as LLIO was founded in memory of her beautiful mother, Llio Gwenllian Thomas. It is always a hard day if you have lost a mother, and with content posted all-over social media it can make it even tougher. Always remember, even if you have lost your loved one, you can use the day to reflect on the happy memories you made together.
So... Happy Mother’s Day if you are a mother, have a mother or your mother is no longer here.
Llio was all about beauty. She was a crowned Beauty Queen and a trained beautician. Nia started the brand LLIO in memory of her mother’s sudden passing. The LLIO brand was born from a 3-year journey of self-healing and love. Nia had always dreamt of creating a beauty brand due to the passions she shared with her mum and she had always encouraged Nia to do so. Mothers truly do make the most impact on your life and their words and actions resonate with so much love.
